K-pop superstar Jin has once again proven his unwavering dedication to BTS, leaving fans emotional with his honest take on acting and personal ambitions. While many fans have long believed that Jin could easily transition into acting thanks to his striking visuals and on-screen presence, the singer has made it clear that his priorities lie firmly with his group.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Jin opened up about his career choices and why he has no immediate plans to pursue acting. Despite having a background in acting and often showcasing his talent in music videos, he shared that a solo path doesn’t hold much importance for him right now.
Jin candidly said that he doesn’t see the point of continuing any career outside the group if it doesn’t involve BTS. He emphasized that his main focus is staying together with his bandmates—RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—rather than exploring individual ventures like acting.
The singer added that his biggest dream is to continue touring with BTS and connect with fans across the world. Following the release of their comeback album ARIRANG, the group has been actively engaging with fans globally, making this dream a reality.
Jin’s remarks have struck a chord with fans, known as ARMYs, who praised his loyalty and commitment. Many took to social media to express admiration, noting how he has consistently prioritized the group, especially during periods when members were fulfilling mandatory military duties. At the time, he was busy with solo tour commitments while the rest of the group was working on the album. By the time he joined the process, a large number of songs had already been created, leaving him with limited involvement.
He shared that he recorded selected tracks within a short timeframe, but acknowledged feeling slightly disappointed about not contributing more creatively. However, Jin maintained an optimistic outlook, saying there will always be more opportunities in the future.
