Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan recently attended the special screening of the upcoming family entertainer Daadi Ki Shaadi in Mumbai, where he showered praise on Riddhima Kapoor Sahni for her acting debut. In a playful remark that quickly grabbed everyone’s attention, Aamir joked that Riddhima performed even better than her brother Ranbir Kapoor.
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, daughter of legendary actors Neetu Kapoor and late Rishi Kapoor, is all set to make her Bollywood debut at the age of 45. While speaking to the paparazzi after the screening, Aamir Khan expressed how much he enjoyed the film and appreciated the entire cast.
Aamir said, “This is Riddhima’s first film and she has done a wonderful job. She has acted better than Ranbir. I really enjoyed the film. My best wishes to the whole team.” His humorous comment left everyone laughing, while Riddhima was seen blushing as people around her cheered and applauded.

In her post, she mentioned that “firsts are always special” because they become lifelong memories and learning experiences. She revealed that more than 200 people worked together over 52 days to create the heartwarming family drama. According to her, the journey was filled with laughter, dancing, emotional moments, and unforgettable memories. She also said she could not wait for audiences to watch the film in theatres.
Recently, during a promotional interaction, Neetu Kapoor recalled the moment when the filmmakers first approached Riddhima with the idea of acting in a movie. Neetu revealed that both she and Riddhima initially burst out laughing because they could not imagine her entering Bollywood at this stage of life. However, after some thought, Riddhima eventually agreed to take on the project.
Directed by Ashish R Mohan, “Daadi Ki Shaadi” is a family comedy-drama produced by RTake Studios and BeingU Studios. The film features an ensemble cast including Kapil Sharma, Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, R. Sarathkumar, Tejasswi Kolhapure, and Sadia Khateeb in important roles.
The trailer of the film promises a fun-filled family entertainer. It revolves around Kapil Sharma and Sadia Khateeb’s wedding plans, which suddenly face chaos when Sadia’s grandmother, played by Neetu Kapoor, decides to get married herself.
