Tanushree Dutta
Actor Tanushree Dutta has once again stirred debate by alleging the presence of a “Bollywood mafia” and linking it to the deaths of Sushant Singh Rajput and Jiah Khan.
In an interview with Meri Saheli, she claimed that both actors were going through difficult times and raised doubts about the circumstances surrounding their deaths. According to her, the film industry has an “unspoken reality” that many avoid discussing openly.
Tanushree stated that if such powerful groups did not exist, talented stars like Sushant and Jiah might still be alive. She also questioned the narrative of suicide, saying that people do not take such extreme steps without being pushed into severe mental distress.
She explained that individuals who appear successful and confident do not suddenly lose hope without deeper reasons. “A person reaches that stage only when something serious has affected their mental state,” she said, adding that the real question is what leads someone to such a breaking point.
The actor further emphasized that professionals in the film industry are already aware of career uncertainties and setbacks. According to her, ups and downs alone are not enough to push someone to such an extreme decision, suggesting there could be additional pressures involved.
Speaking about the alleged functioning of influential groups, Tanushree claimed that those who refuse to conform often face consequences. She said independent-minded individuals may be sidelined or targeted, regardless of their talent or popularity.
She also hinted that a few powerful figures can significantly influence careers in the industry, making it difficult for outsiders to survive without support. While she refrained from making direct accusations, she suggested that portrayals of such systems in films and certain global cases point toward a deeper reality.
Tanushree concluded by questioning how individuals who have achieved success can suddenly lose hope, urging people to think more critically about such incidents.
