Galaxy A57
Samsung has expanded its popular A-series lineup in India with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A57 and Samsung Galaxy A37. Positioned between the flagship Galaxy S series and budget offerings, these smartphones are designed for users seeking a balanced mix of performance, camera capabilities, and premium design without entering flagship pricing territory.
The new Galaxy A series devices target buyers who prefer non-Chinese brands and want a dependable Android experience without stepping into higher-priced flagship devices or experimenting with alternatives like Pixel phones. While the design language remains familiar, Samsung has introduced meaningful upgrades in performance and camera processing.

Samsung claims improvements in the Image Signal Processor (ISP), enabling sharper images, better colour balance, and improved low-light performance without manual adjustments.
Features That Stand Out
Samsung has equipped both devices with AI-powered camera enhancements, including subject recognition, scene optimisation, and features like Best Face and Edit Suggestions. These tools aim to deliver better portraits, natural skin tones, and enhanced background separation.
The smartphones also feature slimmer bezels and a glossy finish with a redesigned triple-camera island, giving them a modern and premium feel. Additionally, a 13% larger vapour chamber helps maintain performance during intensive tasks such as gaming or video recording.
What You Should Know
While the Galaxy A57 and A37 offer a strong mix of display quality, battery life, and software support, they do miss out on wireless charging—something that could matter to premium users. Samsung’s promise of six years of Android and security updates, however, adds long-term value.
These devices are clearly aimed at everyday users who want reliability, solid cameras, and a vibrant display experience without stretching into flagship pricing. With competitive pricing and improved internals, Samsung is strengthening its position in the ₹40,000–₹60,000 smartphone segment.
