Vivek Oberoi has finally addressed the ongoing buzz surrounding his rumoured ₹1200 crore net worth, a topic that has long intrigued fans. In a candid conversation with Pinkvilla, the actor chose not to confirm any exact figure but admitted that his financial position is more than comfortable. He shared that he has earned enough to buy the homes and cars he wants, and that his wealth is strong enough to support “many generations” of his family.
“How does it matter? At the end of the day, you have the car and house you like, you buy them—then what else? God has given me enough that many generations of mine can be taken care of…” he stated.
For Vivek, wealth is not just about numbers. He believes that once a person can afford the lifestyle they prefer, the obsession with the size of one’s net worth becomes meaningless. He expressed gratitude for the abundance he has received and the financial security his family now enjoys.
Reflecting on his journey, Vivek revealed that he made his first crore as a teenager, around the age of 16 or 17. His initial earnings came through trading—not in cash, but through valuable stock market assets. He also recalled how his family once owned vast properties before the partition. Losing everything during that period taught him the importance of rebuilding his fortune through determination and hard work.
As he matured, Vivek grew increasingly curious about business operations. During his college years, he dove deeper into the stock market and soon stepped into entrepreneurship. At just 19 years old, he launched his first company, successfully raising ₹12 crore while investing only ₹20–25 lakh of his own money. His priority was always ensuring that his investors benefited, and the venture yielded profits for everyone involved.
Buoyed by this early success, Vivek went on to establish multiple ventures across various sectors including FinTech, EdTech, road safety services, lab-grown diamond jewellery, and infrastructure consultancy. He revealed that he maintains a demanding routine, working nearly 16 hours a day, and even during film shoots he dedicates all his free time to managing his business commitments.
On the film front, Vivek is set to return with Masti 4, reuniting with Aftab Shivdasani and Riteish Deshmukh as the popular comedy franchise gears up for its next chapter.
