“I love cinema, I love people who step into a vortex and let the story take control—spin them, shake them—until their truth pours out on screen. Dhurandhar is an example of that. Loved the storytelling. It’s pure cinema.”

Hrithik added that although he doesn’t agree with the film’s political viewpoint, its cinematic brilliance cannot be overlooked.
“I may disagree with its politics, and debate the responsibilities we filmmakers carry as global citizens. Yet, as a student of cinema, I loved it and learned from it. Amazing.”

The film follows Hamza Ali Mazari, a mysterious young man who secretly works as an undercover Indian spy while infiltrating Pakistan’s underworld. From joining the gang of the notorious Rehman Dakait to marrying a powerful politician’s daughter, Mazari’s actions form part of a high-risk intelligence mission.
