The first look of Dalimb has been officially unveiled, showcasing a striking new side of Jitendra Kumar. Known for his simple and relatable characters, the actor steps into a much darker and emotionally layered role in this upcoming psychological thriller, making it one of the most awaited Indian OTT releases of 2026.
Popularly loved for playing Jeetu Bhaiya in Kota Factory and Sachiv Ji in Panchayat, Jitendra now headlines a story that dives deep into themes of memory, truth, love, loss and illusion. Streaming giant ZEE5 revealed the film’s first look poster on the occasion of Holi, instantly creating buzz among fans. The film is slated to premiere later in 2026 and is a collaboration between Hindi ZEE5 and Ellipsis Entertainment.
Sharing the poster, the makers teased the suspense-filled narrative with a caption that hinted at hidden danger beneath festive colours:
“Rangon ke beech ek aisa rahasya jo kabhi dikhta nahin. This Holi, the colour isn’t celebration it’s a warning. #DALIMB – The myth is watching. Coming soon, only on #ZEE5 #DalimbOnZEE5.”
Speaking about his role, Jitendra Kumar revealed that he was instantly drawn to the script when it was narrated to him at the Ellipsis office. He described his character, Suraaj, as deeply layered with a unique emotional journey. The actor expressed confidence that audiences would connect with the character’s complexity and transformation. He also praised the collaborative experience of working with the film’s creative team and shared his excitement about the film’s release.
Dalimb marks the feature directorial debut of Priya Aven, who has both written and directed the project. The dialogues have been penned by Varad Bhatnagar, with additional contributions from Tanuj Garg.
The film also features a strong supporting cast including Priya Bapat, Kshitish Date, Kavin Dave, Sai Prasad, Harish Kulkarni and Sagar Yadav in pivotal roles.
