Actor Mahima Chaudhry has spent decades in the limelight — but lately, it’s her daughter Ariana Chaudhry who has been turning heads. The two recently attended the premiere of Nadaaniyan, which also marked the debut of Ibrahim Ali Khan, son of Saif Ali Khan.

In a chat with Filmygyaan, Mahima addressed the growing buzz around Ariana’s future in films. When asked about a possible debut, she replied:
“Soon toh nahi… but yes.”
She went on to explain that she hopes Ariana stays connected to cinema:
“I love films, I love creativity, and I want her to be part of my history. Whatever I’ve built in life is here — and there’s nothing like Mumbai. I would love for her to be here.”
Mahima clarified that she isn’t pushing Ariana into acting — but if her daughter chooses that path, she will stand firmly behind her.

Since her red-carpet appearance, Ariana has become a social-media favourite. Fans called her “a mirror image” of Mahima and pointed out similarities with Selena Gomez.
