As the excitement builds for the grand finale of Bigg Boss 19, hosted by Bollywood megastar Salman Khan, discussions about the potential winner have reached a fever pitch. The season, which began on August 24 with 18 contestants, has now narrowed down to its top five finalists after more than 100 days of emotional drama, competition, and entertainment inside the house.
On Sunday, December 7, the remaining contestants — Gaurav Khanna, Pranit More, Farrhana Bhatt, Amaal Mallik, and Tanya Mittal — will reunite on the grand stage one last time as Salman Khan announces the ultimate winner of Bigg Boss 19. Along with the prestigious trophy, the champion is expected to receive a cash prize of ₹50 lakh.
To gauge the pulse of the audience ahead of the finale, SCREEN conducted a poll, inviting viewers to predict who they believed had the strongest chance of winning the coveted title. The results revealed a clear favourite.
According to the poll, music composer and singer Amaal Mallik has emerged as the leading contender for the Bigg Boss 19 trophy. Out of the 5,623 votes cast, Amaal secured 42.6%, placing him well ahead of his competitors. Entrepreneur and podcaster Tanya Mittal took the second spot with 25.8% votes. Actor Gaurav Khanna, known for roles in popular shows like CID and Anupamaa, received 15.2% of the votes. Meanwhile, Laila Majnu actress Farrhana Bhatt and stand-up comedian Pranit More tied with a combined 16.4%.
However, true to its unpredictable nature, Bigg Boss has often delivered unexpected twists, especially in the finale. While Amaal Mallik appears to enjoy strong audience support, the final verdict will only be known when Salman Khan officially declares the Season 19 winner.
The Bigg Boss 19 Grand Finale will be streamed live on JioHotstar at 9 PM, with the TV broadcast scheduled on Colors TV at 10:30 PM. Adding more star power to the event, Bollywood actors Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday will make special appearances to promote their upcoming film Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri.
