Smriti Mandhana–Palash Muchhal Wedding Still On: Family Confirms Ceremony …..

Speculation around the wedding of Indian cricket star Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal has finally been addressed, with the Muchhal family confirming that the ceremony will take place soon. Palash’s mother, Amita Muchhal, shared that both families are emotionally distressed due to recent health-related emergencies but reassured that the wedding plans remain intact.

The ceremony was postponed after Smriti’s father experienced severe chest pain and was admitted to a hospital in Sangli, Maharashtra. As the families shifted focus to his medical care, the wedding was temporarily put on hold.

Amid this stress, Palash himself had to be hospitalised. According to his mother, he became emotionally overwhelmed by the situation and broke down repeatedly after hearing about Smriti’s father’s condition.

“Smriti and Palash are both going through a difficult time. Palash had dreamed of bringing his bride home, and I had prepared a special welcome. Everything will be fine— the wedding will happen very soon,” Amita told Hindustan Times.

Palash’s Health Episode Linked to Stress

Doctors monitoring Palash clarified that his symptoms were likely triggered by acute emotional stress rather than a serious cardiac issue. Senior physician Dr. Dipendra Tripathi told Mid Day that while some medical markers were slightly elevated, there were no signs of a major heart-related emergency.

He explained that Palash was given oxygen therapy immediately and later shifted to a general ward for observation. With rest and supportive care, his vitals stabilised.

Hospital authorities confirmed on Wednesday that Palash has been discharged and is currently recovering. He has been advised complete rest for at least three weeks to avoid any recurrence of stress-related symptoms.

Despite the temporary setbacks, family members remain optimistic, and preparations for the wedding are expected to resume once both households regain stability.
